John R Hind established his consultancy practice in 1994 and specialises in process engineering, troubleshooting and training. Qualified originally with a BSc in Chemistry and later gaining an MSc in Manufacturing, he covers the materials and applications side of plastics, principally in the injection moulding sector. He is a qualified NVQ Assessor.
He joined the plastics industry 25 years ago, working with polyurethanes and has specialised in plastics applications ever since.
He worked for a total of 15 years for two of the major names in injection moulding:
Battenfeld and Demag
John is a member of the Plastics Historical Society, and is fluent in German.
